Salute to the Stars and Stripes:

Wilmington Sharks Games:
Date: Tuesday, July 2- Thursday, July 4, 2024
Time: Gates Open: 5:00 PM | Game Starts: 7:05 PM | or Game Starts: 5:05 PM
Place: 2149 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington, NC 28401
Cost: General Admission: $10 | Reserved:$12 | Box Seats:$15. Click HERE to purchase tickets.
Features: Cheer for the Wilmington Sharks from July 2-4 and stay after the games for spectacular fireworks displays.
Airlie Gardens:
Date: June 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024
Time: Garden Hours | Open Daily 9am – 5pm, last admittance at 4:30PM;

Cost: Included with Garden Admission | $10 | Children 4-12, $3
Features: Surround yourself in serenity by visiting Airlie’s 2,700-square foot Butterfly House. Exhibit is open seasonally.
Concert at Port City Marina:
Date: Friday, July 5th
Time: 7 - 10 PM
Place: 10 Harnett St, Wilmington, NC 28401, USA
Cost: Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance HERE.
Features: Enjoy live music by the Yacht Rock Schooner on the Event Pier at Port City Marina.
Battle for Independence Road Race:
Date: Thursday, July 4th
Time: 7:30 AM: 5K Starts | 8:15 AM: 1 Mile Starts
Place: The Pointe at Barclay | 1450 Barclay Pointe Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412
Cost: Free for Spectators
Features: Run along the Cross-City Trail on July 4th, choosing from a one-mile or 5k race. Sign up HERE and Dress in your red, white, and blue gear for an all-ages fun event.
Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center Open House:
Date: Thursday, July 4th
Time: Anytime between 12:00-4:00 PM
Place: 120 S Second Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
Features: Celebrate July 4th with free coffee and doughnuts served by staff in 1940s-era costumes and a special viewing of "Home Away From Home - The USO at 2nd and Orange."
4th of July Fireworks:
Date: Thursday, July 4th
Time: Anytime to Explore | Fireworks begin at 9:05 PM
Place: Water Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
Features: Enjoy Wilmington's epic fireworks along the historic downtown riverfront. Before the show, explore alfresco dining options, breweries along the Wilmington Ale Trail, rooftop bars, and specialty shops along the Riverwalk and main streets.
Carolina Beach Boardwalk Live Music & Dancing:
Date: All summer long | Check the calendar for a full schedule of upcoming events.
Time: Held weekly | Live music kicking off at 6:30 PM and seaside fireworks launching at 9 PM.
Place: 1 Cape Fear Blvd, Carolina Beach, NC 28428
Features: All summer long, the Carolina Beach Boardwalk offers street food, carnival games and amusement rides like a colorful carousel and high-flying Ferris wheel.

Independence Day Fireworks by the Sea & Boardwalk Blast:

Features: Head to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk for live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and fireworks. Enjoy tunes from the exciting Port City Shakedown. Find a spot on the beach to watch the fireworks.
Downtown Southport | Fourth of July Festival Parade:
Date: Thursday, July 4, 2024
Time: 11 AM
Place: Moore and Howe St Southport, NC, United States
Cost: Free
Features: Spend the day after the parade for arts and crafts, food concessions, Cape Fear radio, and military exhibits.
Fireworks on Oak Island:
Date: Monday, July 1st (Oak Island Pier) and Thursday, July 4th (Southport Waterfront)
Time: 9 PM
Place: Oak Island Pier at 705 Ocean Drive
Cost: Free
Features: It’s never a bad idea to rent an oceanfront beach house so you can watch the show in comfort. Otherwise, grab a beach chair and find a spot on the beach to enjoy the spectacular display!
