Lights Over America is bringing its spectacular Sky Lantern Festival all across the country in 2024, from New York City to Las Vegas, and it's coming to Wilmington on Saturday, June 29th!
Committed to crafting captivating experiences, they also prioritize giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds is dedicated to supporting initiatives aimed at helping the homeless population in America.
An evening filled with enchanting visuals, live entertainment, and culinary experiences, it's truly a magical moment you can share with family and friends while watching thousands of lanterns fly through the sky.

Gather your friends and family, relax, unwind, and remove the negativity and stress that comes with our everyday lives. Every adult guest that attends receives one lantern to release into the night sky. Use your lantern to let go of this negativity, send a message to a loved one, or create positive energy for the future.
Lights Over America uses lanterns that are eco-friendly with tracking! After the event, they track each one as part of their "No Lantern Left Behind Policy" and their cleanup team collects each lantern as they descend. Learn more about their Lantern Safety Policy.
While waiting for the sun to set and the lantern release time, here are a few things to do on-site: roam the event activity area, explore the arts village, shop around, and grab some tasty bites and drinks (including alcoholic beverages). Settle in around your reserved fire pit and listen to some great tunes. Don't forget to bring along a large blanket (fit for the entire group!) or camping chairs for everyone!
