The town of Mooresville is located 25 miles north of Charlotte on the North East portion of Lake Norman. Just up Interstate 77 from uptown Charlotte between exit 31 and 36, Race City USA has a completely different feel then the other lake communities.
 
Mooresville has a great mix between its historic district, racing shops and its newer lakeside communities.
Old downtown Mooresville has recently been home to a couple of different films and TV shows as it very much has the Norman Rockwell charm so many movies try and recreate. As a polar opposite the lakeside of Mooresville is full of shopping, dining and lake fun. It is a bustling area full of life and activity. When in Mooresville you can’t leave out racing, known as “Race City USA” this town is full of Nascar racing, teams and all the business that supports it.
