Denver

Steeped in American history this sleepy little town comprises the majority of the west side of Lake Norman. The township of Denver is located in Lincoln County, approximately 20 miles Northwest of Uptown Charlotte on Hwy 16. With its easy commute to Uptown, Charlotte Douglas Airport and everything the Lake Norman Region has to offer, Denver is just far enough away to gain the peace and quiet we all so desperately want, but still be close enough to anything and everything you need.

 

Looking for something to do in Denver, head out to one of the local high schools for “Friday Night Lights”, than head to a local watering hole for a few beverages and socializing with your fellow fans. Weekends are full of fun on the lake and youth sporting events at the local optimist clubs. If you like to live in a sleepy town but still want to have great nightlife within reach, the eastside of the lake is less than 8 miles and boast all the shopping and bar hopping you could possible want. If it is professional sports you like, Denver sits just 25 to 30 minutes from Bank of America Stadium, Time Warner Cable Arena and BB&T Ballpark.
