About Ben Lastra

Ben Lastra did not come to real estate from a classroom. He came from experience.

Born and raised in the Carolinas, Ben has spent the past decade helping others find their place here. His passion for this work was sparked by something deeply personal: navigating the highs and lows of buying and selling his own homes and walking away with the conviction that clients deserve better. Better communication. Better advocacy. An agent who actually picks up the phone, follows through on every commitment, and never stops fighting for the person on the other side of the transaction. That belief became the foundation of everything he does, and it has never wavered.

Today, Ben serves as Charlotte Team Leader and Sales Manager with the Andy Bovender Team at Compass, one of the most influential roles on one of the top real estate teams in the Carolinas. But his influence is not measured in sales numbers alone. It is measured in the culture he has helped build: a team environment rooted in collaboration, accountability, and a genuine commitment to helping each member reach their potential. Ben leads by example, and the agents around him rise because of it. He invests in people the way he invests in his clients, fully and without reservation.

His approach with clients mirrors his approach with his team. He puts people front and center. He listens before he talks. He advocates without stopping. Outside of work, Ben is, above everything else, a father. His four kids, Savannah, Everlee, Robson, and Isla, are his whole world. Each one brings something distinct and irreplaceable to his life, and together they keep him grounded, grateful, and motivated in a way that no professional achievement ever could. When he is not leading his team or working with clients, you will find him exactly where he wants to be: with them.
